Rose Lepin is a student at the University of British Columbia in the competitive Bachelor of Media Studies program. Her love for writing blossomed at the age of thirteen when she joined her high school newspaper and was soon after named assistant editor. Since then, Rose has written for the West Vancouver Beacon Newspaper, and was named a columnist for the publication in 2021, with her further work being published as “Talkative Teen.” Map of Madness started as an outlet for thoughts and feelings in the midst of her parents’ separation in grade nine, then became something of a portfolio, and now acts as the home of the big feelings she boxes into little words. For more of Rose’s published work, she can be found on Linkedin.
